The 2001 commemorative Australia Twenty cent issue celebrates the Centenary of Federation of Western Australia.
Featuring the 4th portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, with lettering ‘ELIZABETH II’, ‘AUSTRALIA 2001’ and the engraver’s initials ‘IRB’.
On the reverse, the Rabbit-eared Bandicoot (Bilby), Kangaroo Paw plant (Floral emblem of WA) superimposed on a map of Western Australia, with lettering ’20 cents’, the engraver’s initials ‘JN’, and ‘CENTENARY OF FEDERATION’.
