The 1915 Australian shilling obverse features the robed and crowned bust of King George V facing left, with the legend:
‘GEORGIVS V D.G.BRITT:OMN:REX F.D.IND:IMP:’ and a dot below.
The reverse shows the words ‘ONE SHILLING’ and the Australian Coat of Arms. A kangaroo and an emu hold a shield, with a star above.
Below is a scroll with the words ‘ADVANCE AUSTRALIA’, then the date underneath.
